Something like Pirate Metal or Punk. I wrote this song for Bandlab’s Shantyonthelab seashanty contest, then it was enhanced by Omnicordion.
I will
Love her from the starboard
Love her from the port
Love her from the forward
Love her from the aft
Love her till she cries, no!
Oh, sweet Lady Ann
I’ll grab my sack and I’ll be
Back on the sea again
Tilbury to Boston, Rio, Buenos Aires
Honolulu, Sidney, Singapore, Bombay
Dubai to Port Said to Istanbul, Athens
Gibraltar, Hamburg and back to sweet Lady Ann
Another collaboration with the excellent multi instrumentalist Omnicornio. Originally conceived as a Piazzola tribute. Then it became this melancholic, drunken tavern, surrealist, heavy tango rock as he describes.
Será que escribo
Mis últimas letras
En papel empapado de lágrimas amargas
Versos mórbidos
Que me dictó la vida
Gastada sin la única mujer que quería
Camarero,
Suerte miserable
Que me ha dejado vivir la vida
Sin tocarte, abrazarte,
Sin saber el calor de tu piel
Suerte miserable
Que me ha dejado vivir la vida
Sin tocarte, abrazarte,
Sin saber el sabor de tu boca

A reggae collaboration with the excellent Jab The Caller reminding you to think for yourself and don’t automatically believe everything you’re told.
Call them Jab
People come closer and
Hear me out
What I have to say
you may not gonna like
This is concerning all
Of your lives
And it’s nearly too late
To open your eyes
You think you’re free
But it’s time to see
You are being played
All along the way
Your opinion and the
Thoughts in your head
Could have been planted there
By somebody else
But now I give you this protest song
Sing it all day, hum it all night long
Don’t let the system make you a slave
You are the master of your own brain
Now that you have this protest song
Pass it along give it to everyone
The sooner you start to disseminate
The sooner we can free those who relate
Bob Marley warned you about
Mental slavery
Yet your mind is chained
By marketing tactics
The leaders you follow
Will lie for your vote
Break any promise
For gain of bank notes
You trust your favorite paper but forget
The journalist must also eat
So does the cleaner, the driver and the editor in chief
You think your vote is free but look at the choices you’ve left with
The wicked rules over you by keeping you divided
But now I give you this protest song
Sing it all day, hum it all night long
Don’t let the system make you a slave
You are the master of your own brain
Now that you have this protest song
Pass it along give it to everyone
The sooner you start to disseminate
The sooner we can free those who relate

Bandlab honored me again by including my cover of the ever fantastic Autumn Leaves on this week’s Trending in Jazz playlist. Thanks.
I’ve got this beautiful carving from my #1 fan and good friend, Adam Molinek from Switzerland, made from a single piece of wood. Adam Molinek is an emerging artist, famous for his extremely complicated, often psychedelic wood sculptures.
My take on this wonderful ever red and gold classic.
A funky little song, don’t look for any deep meaning behind it. Also available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube and a bunch of other platforms.
Gotcha
Caught you how you cha cha
Across my soul
Shuffling through my
Rhythms and my beats
But I let ya
Hell I even watch ya
Ripping up the floor
And I’ll jump right in
If I can’t take no more
This is not the night
I’m gonna worry
About virus spreading
Or the planet burning
It’s more like the night
When I rip off my shirt
You can’t stop me now
I’ll dance till it hurts
I saw ya
Deny if you wanna
I know your moves
You filled me with riddim
When you stole my blues
And I thank ya
Now I can boogie how I wanna
Drop me the groove
And make me some space
Coz I’m ready to move
You rocked my ambience
Kicked me in a trance
I really feel the ants
I can’t stop to dance
Rock me now!
This is not the night
I’m gonna worry
About virus spreading
Or the planet burning
It’s more like the night
When I rip off my shirt
You can’t stop me now
I’ll dance till it hurts
The dub version of my song Vago de Playa has been included on Bandlab’s this week’s Trending in Reggae playlist. I am totally honored. Thanks Bandlab.
El hungarito va al barito
Toma su trago, toma su tiempo
No importa país ni pueblo
Lo saluda todo el mundo
El toma
Con el checo, el eslovaco
El chino y el koreano
Con el ruso y el polaco
El gringo y el mexicano
El judío y el irano
Argentino y brasilero
El francés y el alemán
Hace crecer la paz mundial
El toma
Con el turco con el griego
El serbio y el croato
Paquistaní y el indio
Su paisano y el gitano
El cubano y africano
El inglés y el italiano
Español y el catalan
Hace crecer la paz mundial
